Prem BehlPrem Behl, Chairman
Mr. Prem Behl is the Chairman & Managing Director of Exhibitions India Pvt. Ltd. (EIPL), a name synonymous with highly innovative and successful international exhibitions, events and conferences. An intrepid entrepreneur, Mr. Behl founded Exhibitions India Group in 1987 as a trade promotion organisation creating opportunities for investments, joint ventures and technology transfers. He led groups of Indian exhibitors to trade shows around the world to find innovative ideas for more funding, and win new customers and businesses.

Mr. Behl is globally recognized for his path-breaking and visionary contributions to the exhibitions industry. Through his pioneering role, he set new standards to attract unparalleled levels of foreign and domestic investment inflows, generating new employment opportunities and changing lifestyles. He has always been open to new business opportunities, and that has been part of his success. Innovation is one of his core values. He is committed to provide best-in-class solutions to create a seamless experience for exhibitors. His concepts and strategies are very specific, and he takes a deep dive approach.

In his pursuit to facilitate change and expand domestic and international trade and commerce, he maintains professional membership with a large number of international and domestic trade associations, chamber of commerce, and business councils. 

He is the Managing Director of the Conference of Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Governors and Premiers (CGLSLGP) India office, which assists companies under the banner of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (State of Wisconsin, USA) access the Indian market.

Dhruv BehlDhruv Behl, Director
Dhruv became a Director at the Exhibitions India Group in 2004, and is part of the senior management team to determine and drive overall strategy and growth of the group and its individual SBUs. He founded autoX magazine in September 2006, which has since grown to become the leading source of news about the global automotive industry.

He is amongst the most experienced automotive journalists and enthusiasts in the country, and is among seven Indians on the World Car Awards jury. He is a member of the Indian Car of the Year jury, as well as a jury member of the NDTV Car & Bike Awards. He was the Vice President of External Affairs & Financial Affairs of the Menlo College Student Government Association from August 1999 to May 2000. In the past, he worked with the Balboa Capital Corporation in Irvine, California, from January 2003 to February 2004, where he performed contract negotiation for lines of credit. During his time at University of Southern California, and Menlo College, he interned with UBS Paine Webber in San Francisco, Merrill Lynch in Los Angeles, and Cisco Systems in New Delhi.

Dhruv has a bachelorís degree in Business Administration, with a specialization in Corporate Finance, Investments and Financial Markets, from the University of Southern California where he was on the Deanís List of the Marshall School of Business.

Sunil KathuriaSunil Kathuria, Chief Financial Officer
With an educational background and training in commerce, Sunil has been associated with Exhibitions India Group since 1997, and currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer.

He is responsible for the management of company accounts, project budgets and balance sheets. He looks after all taxation matters and ensures that the organization meets with all regulations and statutory compliances.

Sunil is also in charge of interacting and negotiating with third party vendors and suppliers.

S.J. SinghS.J. Singh, President
Mr Singh joined Exhibitions India Group in 2011 after having served the Indian Navy for over three decades. As President of the group, he has been instrumental in reforming the companyís flagship show, Convergence India expo. Under his valiant leadership, the expo has grown to become South Asiaís largest telecom, broadcast and digital media and IT show. He also started a new show called the Internet of Things expo that showcases top notch IoT innovations.

During his tenure in the Indian Navy, he held various illustrious appointments, which include chief engineer of an aircraft carrier, project leader and director of a $2 billion project involving aircraft carrier reconstruction and refurbishment, and command engineer officer of the southern naval command.

Mr Singh holds a BTech degree in mechanical engineering from the College of Engineering Pune, and an MSc degree in defence and strategic studies from the Defence Services Staff College. He has also attended the Naval Higher Command Course.

Sonia DarshanSonia Darshan, Regional Manager
Sonia heads the Maharashtra region at Exhibitions India Group. She ensures the smooth functioning of the Mumbai office. Working closely with her team, she motivates them to meet sales goals, monitors their performance, helps them to close deals, communicates clear job expectations, plans, monitors, reviews and evaluates job contributions.

She is also responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with various trade promotion councils and associations, and regularly attends industry shows and networking events. She has been working with Exhibitions India Group for almost nine years.

Sonia has a bachelorís degree in English from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University.

Rittwika SharmaRittwika Sharma, General Manager, Consultancy
Rittwika has over 12 years of experience in industry research, consulting, business development and marketing. At Exhibitions India Group (EIG), she is involved in market research (primary & secondary), analysis, consulting, business matching for international clients, report preparation, team management, business development, etc.

Prior to joining EIG, she was working with India Infrastructure Publishing, New Delhi. Her responsibilities included market research, analysis, new product development, business development and marketing.

Rittwika has a bachelorís degree in Economics from Miranda House, University of Delhi, and a masterís in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi.

Gaurav ManaktalaGaurav Manaktala, Chief Technical Officer
Gaurav joined the Exhibitions India Group (EIG) in May 2017. He has 15 years of work experience in information technology. He has expertise in IT operations and management, ERP, software, database management, server management, and networking / hardware.

Prior to joining EIG, he worked with organisations like Havells India, Medanta The Medicity, Fortis Healthcare, and NIIT. He was recognized as the best leader in information technology, both in Havells and Medanta. He has also worked as corporate trainer with NIIT to enhance the skills of corporate developers in applications and database.

Gaurav has a bachelorís degree in computer science and an MBA in information technology.

Shah Mir Ali BaigShah Mir Ali Baig, Group Manager
Shah Mir has more than 17 years of experience in the field of strategic business planning, AD sales, printing and publishing, online media, managing major accounts, direct and channel sales, business development with international business alliance network, training, and operations. He is currently responsible for sales, marketing, business development, order generation, techno-commercial negotiations, customer servicing and coordination, etc. He joined Exhibitions India Group in 2015 as senior territory manager where he handled corporate accounts.

Prior to joining Exhibitions India Group, he worked at EFY Enterprises for four years as regional manager, South India. His responsibilities included handling of corporate accounts of National Instruments, Texas Instruments, Intel, IBM and Tektronix. He also worked with Thomas International Publishing as regional manager for 10 years.

Shah Mir has a bachelorís degree in commerce from Bangalore University.

Bijay YadavBijay Yadav, Group Manager, Web Development
Bijay is a software engineer with over 8 years of experience in website development and software programming. He has designed and developed nearly 50 websites and portals in his career thus far. He has in-depth knowledge of analyzing information, software design, software debugging, software documentation, software testing, problem solving, teamwork, software development fundamentals, software development process, and website development requirements.

He is involved in all levels of development, including performance, functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing. He is dedicated to streamlining processes and efficiently resolving project issues. He is also engaged in the promotion of websites through social media and search engine optimization.

Bijay has a masterís degree in software engineering from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi.

Orchie BandyopadhyayOrchie Bandyopadhyay, Senior Manager, Corporate Communications
Orchie has nearly 20 years of experience in journalism and development / corporate communications. She joined Exhibitions India Group (EIG) in February 2017. Besides corporate communications, she also copyedits the monthly magazine, autoX.

Prior to joining EIG, she was the editor of a New Delhi-based magazine on renewable energy, Energy Next. She also worked with Business India, The Asian Age, BBC, Hindustan Times, Oxfam, The Times of India, Zimmer, Welthungerhilfe, and Greenpeace. As a journalist, she has done many investigative stories on a variety of issues, including youth, women and child, environment and health, climate change and natural disasters. She created inspiring content for a range of media for different organizations; coordinated media outreach strategies that included identifying promising stories, writing media releases, developing press kits and organizing media conferences and other events / exhibitions.

Orchie has a bachelorís degree in Mathematics from the University of Delhi.

Ritika ChandhokRitika Chandhok, Senior Manager, Corporate Communications
Ritika has over 12 years of diverse experience in the areas of corporate communications, advertising, marketing and brand communications. At EIG, she is responsible for developing external and internal communications plans in line with Exhibitions India Group Ďs (EIG) communications and public relations strategy. She also manages marketing programs to create brand awareness and visibility, handles strategic and key alliances with trade investment bodies / associations etc.

Prior to joining EIG, she worked with Aegis Limitedís Corporate Communication (India and Philippines). At Aegis, she was responsible for formulating and implementing annual communication plan / channels, directing and assisting communication executives in implementing plans. She also worked with Bharti Airtel Limited in HR-communications as an assistant manager Ė internal communication, where she was responsible for providing image-building plans and advising the company for innovating marketing plans and image building exercises for gaining credibility and market share.

Ritika has a bachelorís degree in commerce from Delhi University and a diploma in advertising and public relations from South Delhi Polytechnic.

Nasir MehmoodNasir Mehmood, Manager, Consultancy
Nasir Mehmood joined the Exhibitions India Group (EIG) in July 2016 as a manager. He brings with him over 22 years of sales, marketing and business research experience. At EIG, he has been involved in primary and secondary research, report preparation, coordinating with senior managers and team members for the completion of projects and taking part in domestic and international conferences for networking and to promote the business of EIGís partners.

Previously, he worked for eight years as project manager with Strategic Analysis India (SAI), which is a part of Strategic Analysis Inc., PA, USA, a globally reputed organization in research and consulting. He was responsible for primary and secondary research, leading projects of business research, ensuring successful completion of projects with schedule and budget adherence; leading client calls; reviewing project reports, developing, supporting and implementing delivery practices to meet clientís business objectives. Prior to joining SAI, he worked for 15 years with CESCO, Saudi Arabia.

Nasir is a graduate in English literature and has a diploma in computer science.

K. Venu VardhanK. Venu Vardhan, Manager
Venu has been working with the Exhibitions India Group for over nine years. He has handled multiple shows including events on information and communication technology, electronics, business aviation, renewable energy, health and fitness, etc. He is responsible for selling stand space and delegate packages to both existing and new leads, as well as sponsorship sales. He also handles visitor promotion to events, maintains database of clients and develops key client relationship management, manages clients on-site at events, including pre-event briefings, account support during the event, and post-event feedback session. Venuís responsibilities also include networking with government departments, trade bodies, associations, export promotion councils and chamber of commerce.

Prior to his tenure at Exhibitions India Group, he worked with VJ Communications, Hyderabad, as business development manager; Radisson Hotel & Suites Sydney as guest services agent; Food World (Dairyfarm International), Hyderabad, as duty manager, and Ramada Hotel Manohar, Hyderabad, as duty manager.

Venu has a bachelorís degree from Osmania University, Hyderabad. He has also completed various in-house sales, business development, team leadership and IT related courses.

Simmi RajuSimmi Raju, Senior Executive
Simmi joined the Exhibitions India Group in February 2009. She has been working for the trade promotion in India of various US states Ė such as the Ohio Development Service Agency, Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, and Michigan Economic Development Corporation. She also assists in looking for Indian partners for US-based companies planning to enter the Indian market. She has been responsible for scheduling business-to-business meetings for various trade delegation during their visits to India.

In addition, she has been handling database implementation, data enhancement, data sourcing, data research (market research / online research) and analysis, and data gathering, as well as focusing on data accuracy and quality.

Simmi has a bachelorís degree from Delhi University. She has also completed a diploma in web designing (MS Office, MS Access, HTML, Active Server Pages (ASP), Java Script from Aptech Computer Educations and a diploma in tourism & ticketing from YMCA, New Delhi.
